YOUR PATCH North West England, North Wales and Wales – including Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales, Mid Wales and South Wales.Postcode areas: BB, BL, CF, CH, CW, FY, L, LD, LL, M, NP, OL, PR, SA, SY, WA and WN.
Field-based with regular customer visits, so you'll ideally live within or close to the territory.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Grow an established portfolio of trade and merchant accounts
- Win new business and build a healthy pipeline across the territory
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, face to face
- Introduce new products and ranges to increase spend in existing accounts
- Quote, negotiate and close commercial opportunities
- Plan and run your own diary and territory
- Deliver against agreed sales targets
- Experience in Business Development, Area Sales, Territory Sales or Account Management
- A track record selling into builders', timber or independent merchants, distributors or the professional trade
- The ability to grow existing accounts and hunt new business
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivation and organisation – comfortable working independently in the field
- A full UK driving licence
Experience with fixings, fasteners, power-tool accessories or building products is a plus, but not essential. If you're a strong B2B trade sales professional with the right attitude, we want to hear from you.
