Location: Gwent
Location: Fordingbridge
Salary: £24,754.50 - £26,000 pa depending on experience + comany performance bonus paid 1/4
Hours: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday, including 1 hour for lunch

Working with our Client who is a well-established global distributor, we are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within their packing department on a permanent, full-time basis.
TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE LOCALLY.
Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:
- Be able to work the hours stated.
- Be physically fit a lot of manual handling, standing for a long period of time and walking involved.
- Have excellent timekeeping and be reliable.
- Be computer literate.
- Be able to multitask.
- Be numerate.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be flexible to suit the business needs.
- Be a strong team player.
- Be highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines when under pressure.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:
- Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy
- Inspection of customer orders to ensure Right first time .
- Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times
- Releasing of orders to couriers
- Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required.
- Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures and follow all HS&E regulations.
- Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/Line Manager.
