Job Summary

We invite you to join our customer’s team as an Economist Longlist, where you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of economics and advanced AI. In this fully remote, full-time role, you will apply your deep understanding of economic concepts to critically evaluate, improve, and shape the way AI systems comprehend and communicate economic topics. Your expertise will help ensure excellence and clarity in economic insight delivered by cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess AI-generated responses to economics questions for factual accuracy, clarity, and logical rigor.
  • Reframe ambiguous or challenging economic queries to preserve analytical depth and intent.
  • Apply structured evaluation rubrics to score responses on analytical reasoning, conceptual integrity, and communicative clarity.
  • Conduct fine-grained linguistic and conceptual analysis (e.g., pinpointing arguments, assumptions, or conclusions within text).
  • Deliver detailed written and verbal feedback to enhance evaluation consistency and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to refine evaluation processes and contribute to the advancement of AI-driven economics communication.
  • Stay abreast of developments in economic research, data analysis, and best practices in academic communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a closely related discipline.
  • Robust knowledge of economic theory, data analysis, and policy evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical writing or evaluation within economics or a similar field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on clarity and academic rigor.
  • Proven analytical thinking, problem-solving, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to excel in a remote, structured work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with educational assessment, technical review, or AI response evaluation.
  • Familiarity with rubric-based scoring or linguistic annotation practices.
  • Background in econometrics, applied economics, or policy research with a focus on synthesizing complex information for diverse audiences.
