Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
- Work safely and comply with all safety processes
- Comply with quality system work instructions
- Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems as directed
- Complete PM's
- Complete PdM routes
- Respond to breakdowns
- Fabricate
- Install
- Operate basic machine shop equipment (drill press, bandsaw, lathe, grinder)
- Document corrective actions within the ONE maintenance system as required
Prior experience working with/repairing power transmission, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, seals, pumps & fans, basic rigging, and basic fabrication
Knowledge of PLC’s (prefer Mitsubishi), VFD’s, servo controllers, temperature control, and HMI systems is a plus
Welding experience; ability to operate advanced Machine Shop equipment such as lathes and CNC mills
Completion of at least 8 years experience in a Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics trade or a certified apprenticeship as an Electrical (Electrician), Mechanical (Millwright, Toolmaker, Pipefitter, Machine Repair) or Mechatronic trade
Previous mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be comfortable working in a semi-clean room atmosphere, including gowning or lab coats, hair nets, gloves and safety glasses as required
Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions, blueprints and documentation
Must be able to use computer-based work tools
