** Wabtec offers a comprehensive portfolio of products and services for dynamic energy and data transmission, such as: conductor bar systems, cable reels, slip ring systems and loading systems for ships, buses and trucks. These products are developed and produced at various locations within the Wabtec organization.  Under the brand name Akapp Stemmann this sales role focuses on the sale of our
** CONDUCTOR BAR SYSTEMS
** for the Southern part of
** the DACH REGION**. Our high quality conductor bar systems are designed for various industrial market segments where dynamic energy and data transmission is required. Think of applications in crane technology, intra-logistics (automated high-bay warehouses), façade cleaning, concrete industry, automation in agriculture and theatre technology ( ). The engineering and production of these conductor bar systems takes place at the Wabtec site in the Netherlands (Ede), where about 200 colleagues work for various (support) departments within Wabtec (Netherlands).

As Sales Manager of conductor bar systems, you will work closely with the Akapp Stemmann sales team of Wabtec Netherlands, which consists of 2 other outside sales colleagues and a number of colleagues in the back office for order and quotation processing. In this role, you will report to Akapp Stemmann's Sales & Marketing Manager In this role, you will make a difference by taking full control of the Southern part of the DACH region and not missing an opportunity to achieve our commercial goals.

By combining your healthy sales drive and your technical insight, you are able to advise our current and new customers on the most optimal application of our conductor bar systems. You are a sales person who is committed to the long-term relationship and therefore you visit our customers regularly to build and maintain important contacts. You have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience in a technical, commercial environment, preferably in crane/hoisting technology or warehouse automation.  

Preferably, you live in the Southern region of the DACH area. But also candidates who live in the Netherlands and speak and write German very well are also invited to apply if they do not live too far from the German border.
