The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and vehicle inspections. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and documenting vehicle conditions using Multi-point Inspections or Repair Orders. The technician must operate vehicles safely, conduct safety and emissions inspections, and follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:Candidates should have the ability to work at least five days weekly, possess a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate motivation to work in a fast-paced environment. Automotive experience is preferred but not mandatory, emphasizing a passion for cars and strong work ethic.
Skills & Duties:Key duties include tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, oil changes, maintaining a clean work environment, and safely transporting vehicles and parts. The role requires physical stamina to stand, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform repetitive motions. Good communication skills and the ability to work safely in varying environmental conditions are essential.
