GEMS is a fast‑paced product development and sourcing company that partners with major U.S. retailers, including Target and Walmart. We specialize in delivering high-quality, on‑trend consumer products under private label brands across categories such as consumer electronics, flameless fragrance, home accessories, OTC healthcare accessories, and lighting.

Our cross‑functional workforce spans the United States, Mexico, and Asia. Working in collaboration with retail partners and global manufacturing companies, we operate with speed, precision, and accountability—bringing hundreds of SKUs to market each year.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a broad product portfolio in our consumer electronics business and play a key role in our end‑to‑end development and sourcing processes. This is a hybrid role combining traditional product management responsibilities with direct engagement in sourcing and cost optimization.

You will manage the full lifecycle of 75–100 SKUs annually, collaborate closely with our design, logistics, and overseas sourcing teams, and help  junior team members. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in managing consumer products, particularly for mass retailers, and possesses strong customer‑facing communication skills. Preference is for experience working with consumer electronics.

• Lead the development of consumer electronics products from concept through production.
• Own timelines, specs, briefs, testing coordination, and packaging execution for each SKU.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sourcing, engineering, QA, and packaging.
• Support customer‑facing buyer meetings, internal product ideation, pitches, and pricing reviews.

• Manage quote rounds, RFQs, and factory communication in partnership with our Asia or Mexico‑based teams.
• Negotiate costs, analyze margin opportunities, and track tooling and lead‑time readiness.
• Evaluate alternate sourcing options and support secondary vendor strategies.
• Ensure on‑time factory execution and alignment with testing, compliance, and shipping schedules.

• Mentor Product Managers and Coordinators on process, organization, and prioritization.
• Contribute to weekly product check‑ins and cross‑functional team updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in business,ాక్ష supply chain, engineering, product design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, product development, or sourcing.
• Ability to identify new product segments and white‑space opportunities.
• Experience working with overseas factories, cost management, and RFQ processes.
• Familiarity with big‑box retail workflows (e.g., Target POL, Walmart Retail Link, testing protocols).
• Ability to manage high SKU volume across multiple product categories simultaneously.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.

• Strong background in consumer electronics or adjacent categories (e.g., accessories, smart home).
• Experience developing products for major private label brands.
• Cross‑category experience in audio, power, smart home, or personal care electronics.
• Exposure to packaging development and retail merchandising strategies.
• Proven experience mentoring junior team members or leading project teams.
