Assistant Director – Eden Prairie – Kinder Care Learning Companies
Join the Kinder Care Learning Companies team as an Assistant Director in the Eden Prairie center. As an Assistant Director, you will support education, family relationships, accreditation, and operational goals at a center recognized for maintaining exceptional early childhood education services and earning the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award.
Responsibilities- Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
- Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Serve in various center roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
- At least two years of early childhood education experience, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure their use in the classroom.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors; postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children.
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents in English.
