Electronics Diagnostics Technician – Overview

We’re working with a growing medical device company who is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to support production and perform advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting work on complex electromechanical systems. This role focuses on investigating non-conforming units, identifying root cause failure modes, and supporting both production and R&D efforts. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, self‑directed technician who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can troubleshoot electronics with minimal engineering guidance.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic failures in production and returned systems
• Perform root cause failure analysis on electromechanical assemblies
• Support capital equipment builds, production testing, and release activities
• Assist manufacturing engineering with process improvements and fixture development
• Support evaluation of design, process, and software changes

• 5+ years of electronics technician experience ideally within a high volume setting
• Medical device industry experience (nice to have)
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and soldering skills
• Experience using test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Ability to work independently in a startup or small‑team environment
