Personal Banker - Eden Prairie, MN

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Personal Banker to join our financial institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their banking needs. This role involves managing relationships, processing transactions, and promoting financial products and services to enhance the customer’s experience.

• Open and service consumer and business deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) to support the Eden Prairie Office & Treasury Management team.
• Provide ongoing support for Treasury/Cash Management clients using ACH origination, Positive Pay, RDC and other digital services.
• Assist and support teller functions including daily transactions, wires, stop payments, and balancing.
• Assist customers with account inquiries, transactions, and banking services.
• Process deposits and withdrawals accurately.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of bank products and services to effectively upsell offerings that meet customer needs.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Utilize financial software to open, maintain and update customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
• Perform basic math calculations related to debits, credits, and retail math for transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures while safeguarding customer information.

• High school diploma required.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of retail and business banking products and electronic services.
• Proficiency in cash handling.
• Basic math skills with the ability to perform calculations involving debits and credits accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
