** 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
** Why This Role Matters*
* As a Phlebotomist III - Floater, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care while ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. Your expertise will directly support timely and reliable diagnostic testing across multiple patient service locations.
** What You'll Do*
* + Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, and other approved collection techniques
+ Perform pediatric, geriatric, and adult specimen collections with accuracy and professionalism
+ Process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
+ Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy
+ Maintain required documentation and records while adhering to confidentiality standards
+ Travel between patient service centers and physician office locations as needed
+ Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive and professional patient experience
+ Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
** What We're Looking For*
* + A current, up-to-date resume
+ High school diploma or equivalent (required)
+ Medical assistant, paramedic, or related medical training preferred
+ Phlebotomy certification preferred
+ Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
+ Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
+ Strong customer service and data entry skills
+ Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
+ Flexibility to travel between multiple locations and work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
+ Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID, Flu, TB)
+ Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
