Overview
Night Guest Laundry Attendant (NGLA) – Extended Stay America. Provide exceptional guest service and support hotel housekeeping and laundry operations during overnight shift.
Responsibilities- Assist guests overnight, including check‑in, check‑out, and payment collection per company procedures.
- Process all laundry per brand standards: treat for stains, wash, dry, fold linens, terry, blankets, coverlets, shower curtains.
- Process dishware per brand standards: wash, dry, package.
- Stock housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry rooms with appropriate products to maintain inventory levels.
- Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures per company guidelines.
- Set up and maintain grab‑and‑go breakfast per brand standards.
- Conduct daily property tours to inspect cleanliness; collect trash and address maintenance.
- Report safety and security issues promptly; manage cash handling and key control per policies.
- Clean any hotel area assigned by manager, including front desk, breakroom, laundry, fitness room, vending, stairwells, and common areas.
- Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
- Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
Typical shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Pay range: $24.00‑$26.00 (Bloomington, MN); $38.00‑$41.00 (Minneapolis, MN); $19.71‑$24.64 (Minneapolis, MN). Pay may vary based on role, level, experience, location. Minimum wage compliance guaranteed.
Qualifications- High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Operate property management system technology and shift reports.
- Follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Complete routine reports and correspondence.
- Apply basic math skills.
- Use sound judgment; manage problems and solve guest issues.
Job Requirements
- Stationary work, reach, detect objects; frequent bending; lift up to 25 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions and wet, humid environments.
- Navigate heights and maintain stability.
- Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, and chemicals; risk of electrical shock.
- Typical noise levels moderate to loud.
- May travel to additional locations within reasonable geography.
