As a Data Engineer at FORTÉ, you will play a pivotal role in our IT Department, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support our enterprise applications including Salesforce, ERP (Q360), Service Now, and ecommerce platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and security across our enterprise systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and database management to support our business applications and analytics initiatives. Working closely with the platform teams this role will write and run scripts for data cleanup initiatives.

Qualifications/Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and database design principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems
• Knowledge of ETL tools and techniques for data integration and transformation
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies
• Experience with scripting languages for automation and data manipulation tasks
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling principles
• Experience working with Salesforce, ERP systems (Q360), and Service Now is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
