Location: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

Develop and implement data solutions to transform raw data into meaningful information using programming languages and visualization software. Responsibilities include managing‑domain, modular, flexible, scalable, secure, reliable and quality data solutions that support analytics and insight generation for clients; building quality and efficiency into every project; supporting the full data engineering lifecycle including research, proof of concepts, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance;

leading data acquisition efforts and leveraging ETL/ELT methodologies; ensuring data quality, integrity and governance; and partnering with analytics organization to recommend changes to data systems and architecture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five (5) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in data engineering, ingestion, transformation, aggregation and storage.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS, PL/SQL or T‑SQL.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Scala, Java, R or similar querying/coding languages.
• Background working with healthcare data or supporting healthcare organizations.
• Experience creating source‑to‑target mappings and integrating data streams into data warehouses or data marts.
• Support for data pipelines powering analytical content within Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or Micro Strategy.

Rate of Pay: $ per year.
