Sr Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performing IT infrastructure systems across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will be responsible for bridging networking and systems disciplines, leading projects that impact our enterprise architecture, and mentoring junior engineers.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with deep knowledge of both system administration and network engineering, automation‑first thinking, a passion for operational excellence, and a strong understanding of information security standards.

Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $115,000‑$126,000 annually, consistent with our internal compensation framework. This position is classified as Grade 16, with a full pay range of $94,810.51‑$. You are eligible for an incentive bonus up to 10% of your annual salary, prorated based on your start date. Final pay will be determined by your experience, skills, internal equity, and available budget.

• Architect and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems (security, compute, storage, networking, virtualization).
• Administer, monitor, and optimize Windows and Linux‑based systems and services.
• Administer, monitor, and optimize iSeries systems and services.
• Configure and support network devices: firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Lead infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting.
• Manage virtualization platforms and support hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Implement security controls across systems and networks, including patching, hardening, MFA, and identity management.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Design and manage infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD pipelines for configuration and deployment.
• Monitor infrastructure health and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with Security, Dev Ops, App Engineering teams to support development and operational needs.
• Collaborate with Senior Operations business partners to support their operational needs.
• Assist in leading the Infrastructure team and provide guidance to IT Support Analyst.
• Partner with the CIO in developing and implementing a five‑year infrastructure strategic roadmap.

• 6+ years of experience in systems and/or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Linux, iSeries, and Windows server administration.
• Expertise in enterprise networking (routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP).
• Proficiency in virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V.
• Experience with scripting:
  Python, Power Shell, or Bash.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code:
  Ansible, Terraform.
• Installation of Microsoft SQL Database.
• Hands‑on cloud experience with Azure or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of security principles (Zero Trust, least privilege, IDS/IPS).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and project management skills.

• Certifications such as Cisco CCNP or CCNA, Microsoft MCSE or Azure Administrator Associate, VMware VCP or RHCE.
• Experience in regulated environments (SOX, HIPAA, PCI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL or incident/change management frameworks.

Work out of Eden Prairie, MN. Up to 50% travel to SC, TX, CO, IL, UT, and NV locations.
