AVP, Broking; Crop Insurance or Reinsurance

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Edina, MN
. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role involves analyzing risks and helping develop customized solutions to meet client needs, promptly addressing client queries to ensure satisfaction. It includes supporting the design, development, and marketing of reinsurance solutions to secure new accounts, assisting senior Brokers with complex assignments, and guiding junior Brokers on market trends. Additionally, the position requires monitoring accounts to prevent issues and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to ensure effective communication and service.

• Analyze risks and assist in developing tailored solutions to meet clients' needs.
• Respond to client queries and concerns promptly to ensure high client satisfaction.
• Support the design, development, and marketing of reinsurance solutions to attract new accounts.
• Assist senior Brokers with complex client assignments and provide guidance to junior Brokers on market trends.
• Monitor accounts, including payments and collections, to anticipate and prevent potential issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to facilitate effective communication and service.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in crop insurance or reinsurance.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 20% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Guy Carpenter, a business of Marsh McLennan, is a leading global risk advisory and reinsurance specialist and broker.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $85,500 to $168,000.
