Registered Nurse – Hospice Intake & Admissions

Job Title: Admissions RN – Help Families Take the First Step in Hospice

Compensation: $200 - $250 Per Admission

Benefits: Full Benefits Package (Full-Time only)

Location: Greater Twin Cities Metro – 21-county area

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time | Includes 1 on-call shift per week (backup) and every 4th–7th weekend

The Role

We’re seeking a compassionate and confident Admissions Nurse (RN) to be the first face families meet during their transition into hospice. If you have experience in hospice, oncology, or palliative care—and love meeting patients where they are—this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient homes or senior communities for hospice admissions
  • Assess eligibility and communicate the hospice journey with clarity and empathy
  • Initiate care with professionalism and warmth
  • Collaborate with physicians, intake staff, and the full hospice team
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation
What We’re Looking For
  • Active RN license in Minnesota
  • Experience in hospice, palliative, or oncology settings required
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Confidence and compassion when discussing end‑of‑life care
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
