Outside Sales Representative - Software
Global Payments Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for its software solutions. The role focuses on prospecting, presenting, and closing sales of Global Payments Point of Sale (POS) solutions to small and mid‑size merchants, restaurateurs, and other businesses.
Job Summary
• Responsible for prospecting and running POS presentations both in person and over the phone.
• Close deals within a short sales cycle and upsell existing clients on additional Global Payments products.
• Maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager and attend weekly team meetings.
Job Duties
• Close sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the assigned area.
• Work closely with the District Manager to set appointments via network and referral partnerships.
• Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present POS solutions.
• During training, be accompanied by the District Manager on initial appointments to learn our sales process and CRM platforms (Atlas and Salesforce).
Additional Responsibilities
- Prospect new clients and maintain an accurate, updated CRM record.
- Achieve minimum production requirements and secure quota.
- Continuously develop knowledge of the product portfolio and industry developments.
- Attend weekly team meetings and one‑on‑one meetings with the leader.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites. At least 75% of time in the field.
- Background check (post‑offer) and drug screening (60th day of employment).
- Live in or near the job posting location.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of relevant experience.

Compensation
• Base Salary: $40,000 per year.
• Residual Income:
Continue earning from performance.
• Monthly/Quarterly Bonuses:
Incentives for exceeding quota.
• Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ (dependent on skill, performance, and location).
