Mechanical Technician – Life Time Inc.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical systems in our clubs to ensure a safe and positive experience for members and guests. The role involves routine maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks across plumbing, lighting, pool systems, and equipment.
Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping our clubs well maintained and safe; ensuring all mechanical systems are working properly. You’ll handle routine maintenance and repairs of basic plumbing, lighting, millwork repairs, door hardware, and more in a high-energy, health club environment.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Performs maintenance and repairs on assets such as millwork, plumbing, lighting, pool systems, and laundry equipment.
- Verifies temperatures, pressures, chemistry via logs and inspection systems.
- Responds to repair requests and prioritizes emergency repairs immediately.
- Records all repair and preventive maintenance activity accurately in Maintenance Tracking software.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Years of
Experience:
3–4 years of facility maintenance experience or equivalent training. - Ability to routinely bend and lift >20 lbs and work in a stationary position while moving about the club for prolonged periods.
- CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
Hourly position with wages starting at $23.50 and up to $31.75, based on experience and qualifications.
