Senior Software Engineer (Remote U.S. or Eden Prairie, MN)

EMPLOYER: Optum Services Inc.

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain cloud applications specifically for Optum pharmacists.
• Design and develop robust Full Stack applications.
• Design and implement blue-green environments for production deployment.
• Condense complex requirements into specific and measurable test objectives.
• Develop automated Unit Test cases.
• Work effectively with compliance frameworks.
• Support, maintain, and deploy software solutions addressing various business needs.
• Ensure and maintain production application availability and stability.

Employer requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position mandates 2 years of experience utilizing the following technologies:

• Dev Ops Tools: Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, or AWS.
• Containerization/Runtime: Docker, Red Hat Open Shift, or Node JS.
• Front-End Development: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
  React JS or Angular JS.
• Back-End
  
  Languages:
  
  Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, or .Net.
• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, or COSMOS DB;
  PostGreSQL.
• Frameworks: Spring, Springboot, or Hibernate.
• Project Management/
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Rally or Confluence.
