OB​/GYN Physician; MD​/DO- UNC Women's Health at Eden

Overview

UNC Women's Health at Eden is currently searching for a part time OB/GYN physician. This is a perfect opportunity for a physician who is looking for flexibility in their schedule and work-life balance with only 5 days per month of call!

• Address: 522 S. Van Buren Road, Eden, NC 27288
• Office hours:
  Monday-Thursday (8 am–5 pm), Friday (8 am to Noon)
• Comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for women of all ages, including prenatal care and delivery, contraceptive services, well-woman exams, hysterectomy, pelvic pain, in-office procedures, urinary incontinence, gynecological surgery, etc.
• Access to a broad scope of specialists and primary care providers within UNC Physicians Network and UNC as a whole
• One weekend of call (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) with two additional weekdays during the month. Delivery volume is less than industry standard, delivering about 10 per month per provider
• Excellent clinic staff and leadership support
• 50/50 mix of OB and GYN
• Quality mentorship program available with extensive availability from two senior partners
• Organization: UNC Rockingham Health Care, a 108-bed community hospital in Eden, NC

UNC Rockingham joined the UNC family in 2018. UNC Women's Health at Eden has served the community for 25 years. The practice is seeking a board-eligible new-graduate provider or board-certified experienced provider. Eden is a city of about fifteen thousand located in Rockingham County, NC, in the Piedmont Region.

The region offers amenities for outdoor enthusiasts, including rivers, lakes, state parks, a drive-in theatre, restaurants, wineries and breweries. The Piedmont Triad region is about two hours from the NC Mountains and three hours to the coast.
