Position Summary
Our newest factory, located along the Virginia border, breathes new life into a former brewery, creating an innovative and technologically advanced pet food manufacturing facility. We have transformed the existing structure in Rockingham County to produce leading dry dog and cat food brands, including Purina Pro Plan®, Purina ONE®, and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets®. Hourly
Responsibilities- Candidates must be open to working night shift (6pm – 6am).
- Operate battery‑powered forklifts, sweepers, scrubbers, pallet invertor and shrink wrap machine demonstrating initiative while maintaining adequate levels of productivity, utilization, and efficiency.
- Utilize all functions in EWM SAP system efficiently.
- Operate all dock doors.
- Be capable of each basic warehouse function, including loading, unloading, pull off, case picking, bin replenishment, general sanitation, etc., and need to know the RF proficiently.
- Move finished product released from the packing room to a designated bin within the warehouse in a timely and efficient manner.
- Practice good inventory, warehousing sanitation, and housekeeping.
- Perform all other duties as assigned in a safe manner while fostering a safe work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of forklift experience in a production, manufacturing, military, or related environment.
- Experience using SAP.
- Case picking experience.
- Slipsheet experience.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $26.50. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
