Advanced Practice Provider; Certified Nurse Midwife - UNC Women's Health at Eden

Overview

UNC Women's Health at Eden seeks a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our practice of two OB/GYNs and two Nurse Practitioners.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nurse midwifery care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, and newborns.
• Perform physical exams, collect and document data, manage labor and spontaneous delivery, and conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations; prescribe appropriate interventions and medications.

• Education:
  
  MSN required; graduation from an accredited CNM program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina;
  Certified Nurse Midwife is required.
• Professional
  
  Experience:
  
  Three years of nursing experience in a clinical setting required; one or more years of full-panel midwifery experience preferred.
• Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Rockingham.
