As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents according to site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with staff, students, and visitors, providing assistance and information as required.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns within the educational environment.
• Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
