Shift: Various shifts available (7a-12p, 5-7p, scheduled every other weekend and every third holiday rotation)
Job Responsibilities- Provide dining assistance to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner in accordance with location standards, procedures and individualized resident care plans.
- Help residents with uncomplicated feeding needs, meeting dietary requirements.
- Report changes in mood or behavior to the licensed nurse.
- Accurately document the amount of food and fluid consumed by residents.
- Observe and report residents’ conditions, including any chewing or swallowing problems, to appropriate staff and respond appropriately to resident requests for help.
- Respond promptly to residents’ requests for assistance and report concerns to appropriate staff members.
- High school education not required.
- Ability to communicate and comprehend information.
- Ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities.
