The FOH Assistant Manager supports daily front-of-house operations to ensure excellent guest experiences, smooth service flow, and strong team performance. This role works closely with the FOH Manager and BOH Manager to oversee staff, maintain service standards, and handle customer interactions and escalations.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Supervision- Assist in supervising the Foh staff
- Help train new employees on service standards and procedures
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support
- Step in during busy shifts to assist service as needed
- Ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient, and high-quality service
- Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues quickly
- Monitor dining room atmosphere, cleanliness, and service timing
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with BOH (Back of House) for smooth service execution
- Handle cash management and POS system support
- Uphold brand standards and service expectations
- Monitor staff appearance, punctuality, and professionalism
- Assist in achieving customer service expectations and upselling initiatives
- 1–3 years of restaurant experience (supervisory preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
- Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Team motivation and leadership

- Requires standing/walking for long periods
