St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for our hospice inpatient unit at our Edgewood location. Shift/

Hours:

Part‑time 24 hours per week, night shift 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

The licensed RN provides evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care per established ethical and cultural standards, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes, and demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy toward all patients, families, visitors, and staff.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, licensed to practice nursing in the state of employment.
• Meeting contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state‑required courses.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and competence in medication calculations.
• Proficiency to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
• Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills in routine and emergency situations.
