St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Respiratory Therapist RRT/CRT for our Respiratory Therapy Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. Shift/

Hours:

Full-Time 36 hours/week, 7P-7A.

Regular

Administers safe, effective respiratory treatments, and effective medical gas therapy consistent with current standards of practice, to restore normal cardio-pulmonary function.

• Customer Service Meets Customer Relations Expectations:
  Is accountable for behavior and uses AIDET methodology when interacting with internal and external customers; actions contribute to improved customer satisfaction.
• Meets Professionalism Standards:
  Conducts self professionally; assumes responsibility for professional growth; uses proper communication channels; maintains confidentiality of PHI; attends staff meetings; participates in training; completes annual competencies; stays up to date with Health System information; works within and as a member of the Sleep Disorders Team, and can function independently when necessary; performs other duties as assigned.
• CRT will be considered at the appropriate CRT rate.

• Education, Credentials, Licenses:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist as described by the NBRC
  • Current mandatory state certification to practice Respiratory Therapy
  • Associate degree in applied science or equivalent
  • Maintain NBRC credential; failure to maintain may result in demotion/transfer to Respiratory Technician until credential is reinstated
  • ACLS certification - if not already certified, required post-hire
