Job Role

Bryce Tech is currently seeking an experienced General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS) Consultant to support The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Chemical Biological Center (CBC). The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Funds Control Module (FCM) and comprehensive experience (at least five years) in teaching, training, and utilizing GFEBS applications for specific Army business processes related to complex reimbursable operations.

The person in this role will:

• Track data, prepare and update standard recurring and special reports from various financial sources. Establish a robust data analysis and reporting framework to track the impact and outcomes of the BRIC DTA initiative.
• Provide technical assistance and analysis of funding actions based on interpretation of budgetary laws, policies, and regulations, in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS), and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements. Establish a knowledge management system to organize and share best practices, case studies, and research findings from various BRIC DTA activities.
• Deliver GFEBS execution services, including training government employees, developing job aids, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with other commands as the GFEBS expert.
• Regularly solicit feedback to inform adjustments and enhance service quality.
• Identify, analyze, and evaluate impacts related to GFEBS system changes and interruptions.
• Provide fiscal year-end close and startup support during August, September, and October.
• Assist and coordinate critical tasks such as GFEBS Master Data Builds/updates, Funds Center Builds/updates, Internal Orders, WBS rollover, WBS Element mass upload, Cost Center Builds/updates, Labor and Overhead tasks, S&T Task Build/updates, tracking and clearing critical UMTs and IDOCs, Sales Order Closeout and Rollover, and Reimbursable Funded Program statuses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of federal government reimbursable accounting experience.
• 5+ years of experience in teaching, training, and using GFEBS.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance.
