Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and experienced teaching assistant to join an independent Special Post-16 Institution managed by Barnet Special Education Trust.

They are an inclusive provision recognising and celebrating equality and diversity. They offer personalised placements for young adults aged 18 - 24 with an Education Health and Care Plan that identifies their special educational needs.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Implement strategies to support behavioural, emotional, and social needs
• Assist in creating an inclusive and structured learning environment
• Help deliver tailored interventions and support plans
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Previous experience in a SEN teaching environment.
• Strong behavioural management and communication skills.
• Commitment to development and inclusive education.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and collaborative approach.

• Complimentary CPD Training, including Autism Awareness and Behaviour Support training.
• A dedicated consultant who supports and guides you through each stage of the process.
