Duties

as Primary School Teacher
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as a Primary School Teacher
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement throughout the school day
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing at all times
  • Manage classroom routines confidently to ensure continuity of learning
  • Provide clear feedback and handover notes to school staff
  • Represent Step Teachers professionally while working as a Primary School Teacher
Ideal Primary School Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Confidence teaching across different primary year groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply teaching
  • Positive communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments as a Primary School Teacher
