The Role Support the pastoral lead and Head of Year with the day-to-day management of a year group. Build positive relationships that improve attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and engagement. Provide 1:1 support for students facing social, emotional or behavioural challenges. Be flexible in responding to the needs of the school, including providing classroom support and covering lessons when required. Take on a range of pastoral and administrative responsibilities to ensure students receive the support they need.

Pastoral Teaching Assistant | Person Specification 2:1 or above from a leading UK University. Strong A-Level results. Flexible, adaptable and confident working across different year groups. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with young people. Previous experience working with young people is desirable.
