Strategic Financial Planning
Support longer-term financial planning, including reserves, staffing affordability, and the financial impact of new initiatives or changes in pupil numbers.
Value for Money
Offer constructive challenge on how resources are used, including major contracts and procurement, to ensure spending delivers the greatest benefit to pupils.
Risk and Funding Oversight
Monitor key financial risks and the strategic use of specific funding streams such as Pupil Premium and SEND funding, reporting clearly to the governing board.
