Overview
The apprenticeship in mammography is a new route that will enable the mammography associate to undertake routine 2‑view mammograms. You will be trained to perform breast x‑rays of women to aid early detection of breast cancer and to assist during special procedures in assessment clinics, in addition to helping with other breast screening processes as necessary.
This very busy service will require you to work in both static and mobile screening sites on a rotational basis. The post necessitates travel across the area, so the use of a car and a current driving licence is desirable.
