Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join the Fostering Team at London Borough of Barnet.

Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner - Fostering Team
39.04 - 41.10 p/h Umbrella

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing complex fostering cases, including assessment, supervision, and ongoing support of foster carers.
Providing professional leadership, guidance, and supervision to social workers within the team.
Completing high-quality fostering assessments, reports, and care plans in line with statutory guidance and fostering regulations.
Supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of foster carers.
Working collaboratively with children's social care teams, partner agencies, and fostering panels.
Ensuring safeguarding standards and best practice are consistently applied.
Contributing to service development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Pay Rate:
39.04 - 41.10 p/h Umbrella

Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
Social Work England Registration
Significant experience within fostering services
Experience supervising and supporting social workers
Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, regulations, and best practice
