Temporary Staff Accountant

Overview

Vertin is seeking a Temporary Staff Accountant to support our accounting team during a peak period. This role will focus on bank reconciliations, core accounting duties, and small ad hoc projects that help maintain accurate and timely financial records.

• Prepare and complete high volume of monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Support month end close activities
• Assist with small ad hoc projects assigned by the team
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and uphold internal controls
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Two or more years of accounting experience
• Experience with Dynamics GP preferred but not required
• Strong bank reconciliation skills
• Ability to manage small ad hoc projects with minimal oversight
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
