As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Drive cost control and value engineering to optimize project profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in HVAC and plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction processes, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software (such as Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
