Millions of people live with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), a chronic condition that is often debilitating and under-treated. Access to timely, specialized care from electrophysiologists (EPs) remains a persistent challenge in many communities. Current Clinic is pioneering a new model, establishing a network of specialized, EP-focused ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to expand capacity and bring life-changing treatment closer to home.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support this mission. In this role, you will join a team of ambitious leaders who believe in a hands‑on, collaborative approach to getting things done, even if it's outside our traditional roles. Whatyou will be doing
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across multiple ASC sites, including eliminating and consolidating entries.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes for all affiliated entities.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in cost-sharing across multiple entities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Assist in developing annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts for new and existing markets.
- Support Accounts Payable function
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Identify and implement process enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with finance leadership, department heads, and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in implementation of ERP system and transitioning acquired entities to corporate ERP system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in healthcare or multi-entity organizations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, healthcare accounting standards, and consolidated financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with ambulatory surgery centers, healthcare operations, or multi-site financial management.
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management, cost analysis, and compliance in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
