Are you a driven financial professional with a passion for building relationships and supporting local businesses? First International Bank and Trust is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer with strong Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending experience to join our team in Edina, MN.

This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow commercial lending relationships through strategic networking and market outreach.
• Evaluate client financial needs and recommend tailored lending solutions.
• Analyze title reports and surveys to identify potential risks.
• Negotiate loan terms that align with both client goals and bank interests.
• Ensure clients fully understand loan conditions and terms.
• Manage delinquent accounts and determine appropriate actions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while creating value for both the client and FIBT.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize loan processing and customer experience.
• Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; 3+ years experience in commercial lending or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Proven track record in business development and loan origination.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and market conditions.
• Deep understanding of the Twin Cities market.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
