Training Aids Devices and Simulation Senior Analyst
OBXtek is seeking an Army Training Aids Devices and Simulators Analyst to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8) in the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)). The DCS G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives.
The DCS G-8 also coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.
- Serve as the Senior Analyst for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) and Manpower within the Directorate of Integration.
- Provide analytical and policy support to align TADSS modernization and manpower structure with Army concepts, capabilities, and ReARMM cycles.
- Assess training interoperability, lifecycle cost, and manpower impacts across DOTMLPF-P domains.
- Conduct analysis of authorizations and resource distribution to ensure alignment with approved programs and POM/SPAR decisions.
- Develop reports and briefings supporting Army modernization and readiness objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Force Development duties.
- Expert analytical and technical skills in tactical radio systems, waveforms, and network interoperability; ability to evaluate capability performance, modernization impacts, and lifecycle sustainment of Army communication systems; strong data-driven assessment skills.
- DoD security clearance (DoD Secret).
