The Certified Nursing Assistant will be certified to manage the patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their patients throughout all phases of a woman’s life.

There are 2 full‑time positions working Monday‑Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – one in our Edina location and one in Plymouth location.

Haugen OB/GYN is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i‑Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit.
• Measures vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and documents all information in patient’s chart.
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Performs in‑house testing including UA, Hemoglobin, 1‑hour glucose, and 3‑hour glucose.
• Assists physician and physician assistant in exam rooms as needed.
• Gives instructions to patients as instructed by physician or nurse practitioner.
• Keeps exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintains instruments, prepares sterilization as required.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of the state of MN administered Nursing Assistant certification exam OR active registry as a Nursing Assistant in the state of MN.
• Phlebotomy certified or willing to obtain phlebotomy certification after hire.

Clinic

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.

• Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, e.g., HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws.
• Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
• Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally in face‑to‑face, phone and email interactions. Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
