Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Float Pool at our M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital located in Edina, MN. The hospital offers care to people living and working in the southwest Twin Cities metro area and features over 40 specialty services. We combine innovative technologies with the art of medicine, and we are recognized for high patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and strong collaboration.

• Gain experience in multiple units, primarily the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Emergency Department (ED).
• Occasional float to Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Surgical, and IMC units.
• Additional opportunities to cross‑train in areas such as Post‑Partum, EmPath, and Endoscopy as needs dictate.
• Seeking an engaging colleague capable of multitasking and connecting with a dedicated nursing team.

This position will be working 0.9 FTE (72 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the day shift (7AM–7:30PM). The schedule includes a rotation on every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The RN role offers an additional $2.00/hour for being in the Float Pool.

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• One year acute care RN experience
• ACLS required at time of hire
• NIHSS certification completed by end of orientation
• TNCC and ENPC certifications required within one year of hire

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current Critical Care Experience
• TNCC certification at time of hire
• ENPC certification at time of hire

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of posting. An individual's pay rate may be influenced by factors such as FTE, skills, education, and experience as specified in the contract.
