The Life Cafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the Life Cafe. They deliver a high‑quality experience to members, motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service, and monitor food quality and speed of service to maintain a positive member and guest experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Manage Life Cafe shift operations and adjust schedules based on traffic flow.
- Act as daily shift leader, providing high‑level customer and team support.
- Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers professionally.
- Provide promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
- Manage light food‑prep responsibilities.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to member questions, comments, and concerns.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
- Serve Safe certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
- Ability to routinely bend and lift more than 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move throughout the café for prolonged periods of time.
- Availability for night and weekend shifts as needed.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a food‑service or retail environment with high volume traffic.
Pay
:
Hourly position, wages starting at $15.50 and up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
