Development Representative (BDR) Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) partners closely with Business Development Managers to set appointments with prospective clients and drive business growth. The role begins with approximately 90 days of hands‑on recruiting experience, allowing the individual to learn the business, understand the candidate experience, become familiar with the types of positions we support, and gain insight into the needs of our clients.

Following the initial recruiting period, the BDR transitions into a sales‑focused role responsible for identifying prospective clients, making high‑volume outbound calls daily, and securing qualified appointments for our Business Development Managers. The BDR plays an important role in building our sales pipeline by creating meaningful connections with prospective clients and uncovering potential staffing and workforce needs.
