This role involves hands‑on installation of network and security systems, running low‑voltage cabling, and ensuring reliable deployment of IT infrastructure in Minnesota. If you’re a motivated technician with a strong work ethic and experience in the field, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate low‑voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, alarm wiring, access control, etc.)
  • Mount and configure computer hardware, network equipment, racking systems, and structured cable management
  • Perform onsite deliveries, hardware setup, and systems deployment across various client locations in Minnesota
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete installation jobs efficiently and to specification
  • Troubleshoot field issues and report findings accurately
  • Complete assigned tickets in a timely manner
  • Document the current state of hardware and provide feedback for future state deployments
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external resources to ensure standards are adhered to for all locations
Qualifications
  • Proven field experience in IT installations, low‑voltage wiring, or structured cabling
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, access control, alarm systems, and general IT infrastructure
  • Proficient in office and Visio
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Willingness and availability to travel throughout Minnesota regularly
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a professional demeanor onsite
  • Familiarity with network configuration and troubleshooting preferred
  • Net+ or similar certification preferred
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment criminal background check
  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Pay starts at $60,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
