Junior Accountant - TRK

Thispositionisresponsibleforprocessingaccountspayableandaccountsreceivabletransactions,maintainingaccuratefinancialrecords,assistingwithmonth-endcloseactivities,andsupportingfinancialreporting.

Theidealcandidateisdetail-oriented,organized,andcapableofworkinginafast-pacedenvironmentwithlittlesupervisionwhilesupportingmultipleproductionandsalesoperations.

Thecandidatemaydosimilarworkforanyorallothercompaniesaswell.

• Review,organize,andreconcilematerialtickets,scaletickets,billsoflading,vendor invoices,andsupportingdocumentation.
• Processpurchaseorderrequestsforproduction,maintenance,equipment,fuel,andoperationalneeds.
• Verifyinvoiceaccuracyandcodingbeforeobtainingapprovals.
• Accuratelyenterapprovedinvoicesintotheaccountingsystemandensuretimelypaymentprocessing.
• Assistwithvendorstatementreconciliationsandresolvediscrepancies.

• Generateandprocesscustomerinvoicesbasedonmaterialsales,haulingservices,andotherrevenuestreams.
• Entercustomerbillingsandcashreceiptsintotheaccountingsystem.
• Monitorcustomeraccountsandassistwithcollectionsefforts.
• Maintainaccuratecustomeraccountrecordsandagingschedules.

• Prepareandpostjournalentriesasrequired.
• Assistwithmonthly,quarterly,andannualfinancialcloseprocedures.
• Reconcilebankaccounts,credit cards,andgeneralledgeraccounts.
• Maintainfixedassetrecordsandassistwithdepreciationschedules.
• Supportinventoryreconciliationsforaggregatematerialsandrelatedproducts.

• Preparereportsandsupportingschedulesformanagementandoperationalpersonnel.
• Assistwithsalestax,fueltax,andotherregulatoryfilings.
• Supportannualaudits,insurance renewals,andcompliancereportingrequirements.
• EnsureaccountingrecordsaremaintainedinaccordancewithGAAPandcompanypolicies.

• Assistwithjobcosting,productioncosttracking,andequipmentexpenseallocations.
• Supportcontinuousimprovementinitiativesandaccountingprocessenhancements.
• Performotheraccountingandadministrativedutiesasassigned.

• Bachelor'sDegreein
  
  Accounting,Finance,orarelatedfieldpreferred.
• 3+yearsofaccountingexperiencepreferred.
• Strongunderstandingofbasicaccountingprinciplesandfinancialreporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ,including pivottables,VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP,formulas,filters,anddataanalysis.
• ExperiencewithaccountingsoftwareandERPsystemspreferred.
• Strongorganizationalskillswithexceptionalattentiontodetail.
• Abilitytoprioritizetasks,meet deadlines,andmanagemultipleresponsibilities.
• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
• Self-motivatedwiththeabilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofateam.
• Experienceinconstruction,mining,aggregatematerials,transportation,orheavyequipmentindustriesisaplus.
• Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironmentsupportingmultiplebusinessfunctionsandlocations.
