Position: TJJD - Program Specialist I - Schedule Administrator - (EVN) - 55639

General Description

Provides routine consultative services and technical assistance to facility staff and managers regarding work/shift schedules, leave processes, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain assigned shifts and absences in campus shift scheduling system.
  • Maintain communication with HR staff and act as liaison for shift schedule and leave issues.
  • Monitor, identify, and report system issues and problems to appropriate staff.
  • Gather, analyze, correlate, and compile data and produce reports, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Assist in planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of agency program.
  • Analyze logs, forms, and research discrepancies; correct data or information.
  • Track, monitor, coordinate, and/or schedule activities to ensure deadlines or requirements are met.
  • Communicate with internal and external parties to provide, exchange, verify information, address issues, and resolve problems or complaints.
  • Prepare management reports and respond to issues.
  • Provide consultative services and technical assistance for agency programs.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Six (6) years of full-time wage earning experience in managing a program area, administrative support to a program area, or Juvenile Correctional Officer / Youth Development Coach experience.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in business, education, public administration, criminal justice, social sciences, or related field.
  • Completed course hours of undergraduate study may substitute for experience on a basis of 30 course hours for one year of experience.
  • Pro-rated part-time experience may satisfy the experience requirements.
  • Mandatory pre-employment drug testing.
