Schedule:
Part‑time; hours may vary between 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday‑Friday & some Saturdays.
Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. Free meals and same‑day pay are available.
Job SummaryResponsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs. The Marketing Admin Specialist will provide marketing support to education food service accounts, guide the unit’s marketing team and interns, and execute Chartwells brand standards and marketing strategies to support campus growth, retention, and innovation efforts.
Required Qualifications- At least two years of experience in marketing, preferably within hospitality/food service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to thrive in a multi‑task, deadline‑driven team environment with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Hands‑on marketing support for food service events and program implementation.
- Develop marketing collateral and communication pieces, including brochures, newsletters, programming announcements, promotional guides, and more.
- Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client‑centric manner.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and database management.
- Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.
- Help with staffing, including finding staff for short‑notice absences.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with vendors, agencies, coworkers, school personnel, administrators, students’ parents, and supervisors.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of students eligible for free or reduced‑priced lunches, if applicable.
- Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer systems.
- Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
- Process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bid specifications.
- Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement.
- Assist in preparing end‑of‑month financial reports.
- Attend in‑service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform duties safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
