• Assisting in original processing of digital collections into Scholar Works @UTRGV , the institutional repository.
• Migrating, maintaining, or updating collections.
• Taking on special projects with academic departments, working with faculty members to keep progress going.
• Developing documentation when necessary, such as processing notes for future workers to explain how a collection changed.

• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a graduate degree program at UTRGV ;
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel);
• Strong communication skills (both oral and in writing);
• Attention to detail

Some familiarity with web design, digital publishing software, or graphic design
