Accountant ROC

Job Description

A Accountant is responsible for selected balance sheet reconciliations for assigned TX-OK facilities. The role requires meeting month‑end closing deadlines, preparing month‑end schedules, and coordinating internal and external audit schedules as necessary. The Accountant participates in departmental improvement initiatives, practices judgment in analyzing accounts in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and prepares expense analysis and statistical information. Daily AR, Cash, and Census stats reconciliations are sent to executive leadership and department managers, and expense analysis presentations are prepared for selected facilities.

• One or more years of experience in Accounting within a Healthcare setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated account analysis skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Pivots, and Smart View.
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training, and reporting suspected compliance issues immediately to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
